What are the three most important skills in life which are not taught in our education system:
1) Making Money - btw, making money is not the same as being good at academics.
2) Effective Communication - Communication in India is primarily about "listening to Teachers/Professors/Managers" & "responding to their questions".
We completely ignore "asking questions". Because, how can we ask our teacher a question? Aren't they gods? So how can one question them? That is so not cultural.
Of course, I respect my teachers. But, not asking questions - won't take anybody anywhere!!
3) Coping with failure - We glorify the top 1% folks so much that we don't have formal mechanisms to help the other 99% cope with "perceived" failures.
