Entrepreneurship is hard, especially in India.
Many of my non-Indian friends say: "I tried my hand at my business, failed and moved onto to a corporate job".
In India, given the level of competition, if you take a break (any type), you become a kryptonite.
The economic realities kill the dreams of many entrepreneurs. And, there is a reason why we frequently see PhDs in India applying for sub-par jobs.
We really do come from two Indias: one, where some successful people set a trend and make it big, and other, where masses chase that trend to get lost in oblivion.
*******
This is not a message to demotivate you, but to help you understand the reality that mitigating risk in a country like India is a very sensible move.
