The Department of Research on Oil Extraction Technology provides scientific and technical support to enterprises of the oil and fat industry. Its main areas of activity include technical modernization, as well as the development of regulatory, technical, and technological documentation for oil extraction (sunflower, rapeseed, and soybean oils) and the production of oilcakes. 

Specialists of the Department have participated in the technical modernization of 90% of enterprises in the oil and fat industry, ensuring the installation of modern technological equipment that complies with international standards. 

Over the past five years, the Department has developed, approved, and implemented the following for industry enterprises: 

• 68 technological regulations; 

• 4 instructions;

• 9 product yield and loss standards.
