It is not well known that in the center of our solar system is the sun, Sol, to those who live in other solar systems, and who may not be as intelligent as us and not understand concepts like "center" and "solar system." The "alien" creatures don't know we exist, even though they do have some capacity for abstract thought. For example, they understand the sky is often purple because that's what color they eat. The pigmentovores understand it, at least. And some of them understand the space between their planet and the moon is not highly populated by other creatures than the space-flying butterflies which are the only creatures able to span the distance from planet-to-moon. They think of it as being a very pleasant place to find a mate, and very beautiful, even to their unintelligent minds. All of these planets which live orbiting Sol actually do have life forms, in bacterial form, and so it is still not clearly understand the Sun is at the center of them all, and it is only known to the humans which populate earth.
Isn't it odd, thinking of how we're very unique in our own special knowledge? How we, as the most intelligent species for quite some time, have understanding of information that no other lifeform could possibly conceive of, and in fact, it's very common for us to discuss such things? The Sun, for example, it is very bright. On sunny days such as today, it is also very hot, and it can be seen at different points in the sky. It may be replaced by the moon, except not tonight, due to a phenomenon known as new moon, and we will have to wait until tomorrow to see the sun again once the night comes. The great wave of matter that came from the center of the solar system, ultra-hot hydrogen and helium and a host of other plasma components that made up the sun, all rushing outwards at the speed of a supernova, almost precisely the speed at which the matter that makes up the sun would rush at us if it exploded, minus four or five percent due to the delay of the speed of light. All of the planets suddenly crushed by the expanding supernova, all of the people completely surprised by the explosion, and nobody surviving. Well, except for a few earthlings living outside the solar system. These were the humans we will be speaking about.
The people were hosts of human life. In their DNA, their was preserved a super-strand, which was used to preserve the life-forms of earth in order to be cloned. The people were very intelligent themselves, and felt very woeful at the destruction of the sun, earth, and everything in the solar system. They only needed to wait a few days before sentient beings, great space whales of spirit-matter, floated out of the sunspace and to their station. "Look at the beauty of them!"
These creatures were meant to be the saviors of earth's soul. They must be captured or the lives and love of the planet will all be wasted. The only problem was the souls could not be preserved except in limbs which were amputated by the surviving humans. So all the love of the earth and all the memories and people were to be preserved in a man's little finger, or a woman's elbow, until the journey was complete. You were the first to willingly amputate your limbs.
It's a nice feeling, isn't it?
