Vice Chair

About the role: 

• The Vice Chair supports the Chair and also acts as their replacement in the Chair's absence to chair the exec committee meetings.

• It is usual for either the Chair or Vice Chair to be appointed by the exec committee to chair and mediate internal disputes/conflicts within the group membership.

• They will also provide advice to the exec committee, in particular the safeguarding and equality officers regarding behavioral policies and misconduct procedures.
