Andy is one of our longest established members. Greatly respected for his keen knowledge of local gay history, as well as working closely with our members on mediation related matters enhanced by actual workplace experience.
About the role:
The Vice Chair supports the Chair and also acts as their replacement in the Chair's absence to chair the exec committee meetings.
It is usual for either the Chair or Vice Chair to be appointed by the exec committee to chair and mediate internal disputes/conflicts within the group membership.
They will also provide advice to the exec committee, in particular the safeguarding and equality officers regarding behavioral policies and misconduct procedures.
