About the role:
The Communications Officer is responsible for the content of all communications to our wider membership.
They are also responsible for the group’s public relations and reputation in the eyes of the wider world.
They must ensure communications are relevant, accurate and consistent across the board.
Responsible for the integrated marketing strategy for the group.
Ensure that visual posters/advertisements are produced to advertise upcoming events.
Ensure that all design work and communications are in line with the group’s current branding and marketing strategy.
They will reply to emails received to the main info@stockportplus.org mailbox and forward emails to members of the exec as appropriate.
They will also moderate and admin all of the group's Whatsapp Chats and oversee that communications within these chats are correct.
The Social Media Coordinator will assist by uploading all posts to the social media platforms which are Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
They may also produce email newsletters as appropriate in order to advertise and inform members of upcoming events and activities.
