Communications Officer

About the role: 

• The Communications Officer is responsible for the content of all communications to our wider membership.

• They are also responsible for the group’s public relations and reputation in the eyes of the wider world.

• They must ensure communications are relevant, accurate and consistent across the board.

• Responsible for the integrated marketing strategy for the group.

• Ensure that visual posters/advertisements are produced to advertise upcoming events.

• Ensure that all design work and communications are in line with the group’s current branding and marketing strategy.

• They will reply to emails received to the main info@stockportplus.org mailbox and forward emails to members of the exec as appropriate. 

• They will also moderate and admin all of the group's Whatsapp Chats and oversee that communications within these chats are correct. 

• The Social Media Coordinator will assist by uploading all posts to the social media platforms which are Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. 

• They may also produce email newsletters as appropriate in order to advertise and inform members of upcoming events and activities.
