Heidi is the mother of our group and our assistant Spectrum coordinator. She is passionate about supporting our LGBT+ pan-disabled and neurodiverse membership, working closely with Spectrum and ensuring our activities are accessible to everyone. She will also oversee our social media strategy.
About the role:
The Social Media Coordinator supports the Communications Officer.
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the communications provided to them from the communication officer is broadcast effectively and in a consistent manner to our membership and external audiences across our social media platforms.
They must also ensure that all our social media platforms are consistently active and remain relevant to the group’s communications needs and integrated marketing strategy.
They are also responsible for any admins on the social media platforms as well as ensuring that moderation and code of conducts/rules are effectively managed on each platform.
Ensure that anyone requesting to be added to our social media is safe to be added and that anyone who should be removed is removed accordingly.
Ensure that any complaints raised via the social media platforms are submitted to the safeguarding officers to be recorded and for them to raise to the executive committee where necessary.
