About the role:
The Deputy Safeguarding Officer supports the Safeguarding Officer.
They take the place of the Safeguarding Officer should they be unavailable for any reason.
They assist the Safeguarding Officer with monitoring the safeguarding mailbox to ensure that no emails are missed and that urgent emails are quickly processed.
If the Equality Officer happens to be unavailable, the Safeguarding Officers will by default take on the responsibility of processing support letter requests.
They will also undertake any training required to advance their knowledge to perform this role.
