About: Ladder 4 is a ladder company based at Station 2 in Belltown just north of downtown. A tractor-drawn aerial, or tiller, it can easily maneuver tight urban streets with help from a tillerman in the rear cab. Like all Seattle ladder companies, Ladder 4 has no water or pump but instead utilizes rescue equipment on the fireground. Engines can connect a supply hose to the aerial to establish a ladder pipe to pour water from above.
