About: Engine 1 is one of the department's oldest apparatus, and isn't regularly staffed. It is seen on PulsePoint pretty rarely, seemingly when Ladder 1 is out of service, but Ladder 1 does have its own reserve truck. The department lists it as a reserve apparatus. It also responds as a part of a task force, such as to assist the Pacific Palisades in 2025. In the pictures, it is providing support at a firework show.
