About: Engine 5 received the second of two new 2024 Pierce Enforcers that feature SFD's new livery. Engine 5 was previously a 2008 E-One Quest. Engine 5 is the sole staffed unit at Station 5, but its crew is specially trained for operating the department's fleet of fireboats. Located on the waterfront, the station has its own pier for Fireboat 2, Rescue Boat 5, and Leschi. Though the station is specially trained for fireboat operations, Engine 5 acts the same as any other engine in the department, responding to all types of calls in downtown Seattle.
