You can also start to work on the following EPAs during this rotation:

  • FOD1: Recognizing deteriorating and/or critically ill patients and initiating stabilization and management (link to form)

  • FOD6: Providing primary and secondary preventive health care (link to form)

  • FOD7: Performing basic pediatric procedures (procedures available for this rotation include: lumbar puncture in neonates and infants; changing tracheostomy) (link to form)

  • FOD8: Communicating assessment findings and management plans to patients and/or families (link to form)

  • FOD9: Documenting clinical encounters (link to form)

  • FOD10: Transferring clinical information between health care providers during handover (link to form)
