ER PGY1 Rotation

TTD1: Performing and presenting a basic history and physical examination (link to form)

FOD6: Providing primary and secondary preventive health care (link to form)

FOD1: Recognizing deteriorating and/or critically ill patients and initiating stabilization and management (link to form)
FOD4: Assessing, diagnosing, and initiating management for newborns with common problems (link to form)
FOD7: Performing basic pediatric procedures (procedures available for this rotation include: lumbar puncture in neonates and infants; changing tracheostomy; wound closure; immobilization of an injured limb) (link to form)
FOD8: Communicating assessment findings and management plans to patients and/or families (link to form)
COD9: Performing core pediatric procedures - procedures you may be able to get on this rotation include: ear curettage, IV insertions, nasopharyngeal swab, phelbotomy, throat swab, CPR with defibrillation, G-tub re-insertion, inbutation - neonates/infants, urinary catheterization - boy/girl ( link to form)
