SU Yan Le

Growing up, I’ve always loved learning about the natural world. I had a certain fondness for the ocean and was very intrigued by how much we didn’t know about it as compared to the other ecosystems around us. After my first year in NUS, I decided that I wanted to pursue my interest in studying marine ecosystems, and I hope that one day I can explore the Deep Sea!

I will be working on a year-long research project focused on deploying biodiversity-enhancing RockUrchin units at different tidal heights along Marina Keppel Bay. The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of these units by testing the effects of topographic complexity, material type and shore height.
