I’ve always been interested in nature, but never really delved into marine ecology. I’ve always thought that marine creatures were too complicated and thus never ended up learning about them much, other than the occasional trip to the aquarium. After learning about marine microplastics, my interest in marine research has definitely increased. So, when EMEL had a spot for and 8MC UROPES on microplastic, I jumped at the opportunity. My UROPES focuses mainly on the trophic transfer of microplastics. I hope to be able to learn more about marine ecology and maybe start learning how to dive!
