New staff members receive TLIM training within the first couple of months. All staff attend the Leader in Me Symposium as guests or speakers.
At our monthly grade level meetings we take the first 15 minutes of the meeting to share any updates on our LIM journey. We also check in new teachers to see if they require additional support or resources. There is one Lighthouse team representative at every grade level meeting.
New teachers at EES get 1-1 support from experienced teachers. This time is embedded within grade level meetings, and encouraged informally throughout the busy school days. Our greatest resource is our teachers, and we value and encourage strong working partnerships.
Teachers are EES think win-win. We know we aren't inventing the wheel when it comes to the 7 habits. We have created many Nehiyawiwin LIM resources throughout the year. Resource sharing is encouraged through shared drives, and via email.
Staff presenting on various topics at our district Nehiyawatisiwin Conference. New staff members at EES are encouraged to attend the workshops put on by our staff leaders. TLIM is engrained within all workshops.
