Renewal day for EES staff begins on the first day back in August and again in January. Every year that we have been on TLIM journey we have recommitted to the process as staff twice a year.
Leaders would help with morning announcements. They meet to prepare and practice throughout the year during lunch time.
Every staff meeting, we take the time to update staff on TLIM, share teaching idea's and best practices, and share where we are on our own LIM journey.
Throughout our LIM journey, we have continually used all the tools available. On the site coaching sessions have always renewed and reaffirmed our passion and commitment to all the hard work we have done throughout out the years.
EES always has looked forward to having our coach David George come in to speak on our progress and encourage forward motion. It has been a great journey to have David helping to guide our way, and provide hte much need feedback on our process.
Staff are provided with weekly resources at the beginning of the school year and again in January. This is a good refresher for experienced teachers, and good resources for new staff. These are shared with teachers at the beginning of review weeks.
In 2017 staff members got the opportunity. to present and attend the Symposium in Edmonton.
Every year we encourage our new staff and returning staff to attend who haven't attended before, the Leader in Symposium. This is a great opportunity for staff to continue their learning journey with the Leader in Me. Every year we choose teachers to attend.
