Grade 2s made some healthy competition with each other as they were focusing on being community service leaders this year. In the beginning of the year, they challenged each other to see which class will collect the most perishable food items for the food bank. They collected over 700 items as a grade team!
What a relief! Grade 4s had a hotdog sale to raise money for the victims of the Australian wild fires. Total, they raised $845 for Australia fire relief!
Grade 5s fundraised money for the women's shelter! They also made posters to add a little extra love to their gifts!
Students quickly got the word out to the community as our school received generous donations of hats, mittens, and socks! In return, the physical educational department hands them out to students in need every morning!
Student led leadership and learning is empowering! The student lighthouse team works hard on creating presentations on the seven habits that are presented to classrooms throughout EES. Our students are given the opportunity to practice their public speaking and presentation skills.
