Task 4. Making Connections

 In this task, you'll write a reflection that synthesizes what you've learned about educational technology and how it supports communication and collaboration. You should probably re-read what you wrote in Unit 2 for the paper in preparation for this task.

In a Google Doc, write a 4-5 paragraph reflection that answers the following questions:

• • Meaningful Learning: Write about your own understanding of 4Cs after several tasks in Unit 3. How should students and teachers use technology in a way that facilitates both the 4C skills and meaningful learning (Unit 1)?  

  • ISTE standards: How can we promote the development of students' 4C skills, while also aligning with the ISTE standards? Provide specific real-world examples and quote the ISTE standards you think are related.

  • UDL: In terms of using collaboration and communication tools in the classroom, what considerations should be made for promoting Universal Design for Learning? Refer to the UDL guideline table or the chapter by Rose & Gravel (2010) in Unit 2.

  • What's an idea from the Unit 3 activities that you can see using beyond this semester?

• IMPORTANT: Before you insert it, don't forget to make your Google Docs file viewable to “anyone with the link” (or I won't be able to view it).

• Paste your website's link to the incognito window and double-check if it's viewable to the public. If the document is not public, you cannot get credit for this assignment because I cannot access it.
