When a ticket is purchased, the receipt for the ticket has important information incluced in the content of the receipt. This is what is shared by Burning Man for tickets and we are asking that all campers check out the links provided. They include the Survival Guide and other really important info. This is an example of 2023's links. As of May, 2024, they do not have a survival guide up for 2024.
You have a ticket. Now what?
SURVIVAL: Black Rock City takes place in the remote and unforgiving environment of the Black Rock Desert. It is your responsibility to prepare yourself, and to bring everything you need to survive and thrive. Get your Radical Self-reliance on. If you’re buying tickets for someone else, make sure all ticket-holders read the most recent Survival Guide and watch these videos.
PARTICIPATION: Burning Man is a culture of doing, and there are countless ways to get involved. Everything out there is a work of Radical Self-expression and Communal Effort. Black Rock City would not be possible without the contributions of thousands of volunteers. Find out more about volunteering.
PREPARATION: Here’s a collection of essential tips for first-time Burners. The Jackrabbit Speaks is Burning Man's action-packed e-newsletter, full of helpful advice and pro tips for a great Burn.
