The Village is where you arrive whenever you open the game. From here, you can access a myriad of options.
There are 6 tamers whose skills you can borrow. You can select one tamer to use at a time, and their skillset become available during battle.
During battle in Adventure mode or dungeons, you can tap on the tamer icon to activate their active skill.
You can enhance their skills with gold.
The most commonly used Tamers are Doorn and Kethas, but the others also have their situational uses. See the page on Tamers here.
In this area, you can deploy dragons and gather resources.
You can level up the Forest with diamonds, and level up the respective sources with amethyst. The forest is a great constant source of important resources!
Bookshelf: Wings
Treasure Chest: Gold
Spring Water: Diamonds
Table: Fruit
Nest: Unknown/ Mysterious Eggs
When you deploy dragons, you can collect hearts from them every hour, which will fill a meter. When the meter reaches 100%, you get a gift, which can be wings, amethysts, gold, diamonds, or XP slimes.
It is recommended to upgrade the Forest to level 7. This is the level where you will unlock the Nest. If you wish to upgrade it higher, I suggest waiting until late game to do so, when you are not in need of diamonds to obtain dragons.
One of the great perks about the Forest is that it gives a lot of Fruits - you will soon have quite a supply without having to visit the Massive Tree Dungeon!
Note that the chance of the Nest giving out Mysterious Eggs is 7.5% and this chance doesn't change no matter how much you upgrade the Nest.
From the button in the Village, there are 3 types of quests: dailies, special, and achievements.
Special and achievement quests never reset, but dailies reset every day. Do your dailies every day! They are your primary source of constant diamonds late game.
Special and achievement quests are things you will likely get around to doing anyway, so you do not need to pursue them actively unless you want a certain title or reward quickly. You can also use them as a guide if you are ever unsure how to proceed in your game.
There are also the Master's Path Quest, which gives you goals based on your progress, and the Dragon Growth Diary, which gives you rewards based on building your starter dragon.
The following are some of the rewards you can gain from quests:
The 28 day check-in event cycles. Yes, this means you get 2 Legendary Eggs every month!
New accounts also have a Beginner's Check-In event and Clan Check-In event. These do not repeat once you have collected their rewards.
The game frequently holds other events that require checking in or playing every day. There are several formats that are used multiple times. These are some of the events that have taken place so far:
There are also player-vs-player events at times. For example, there was the Shadow Tower where players battle the top 100 teams in Colosseum in order to gain points and Gold. At the end of the event, individual ranking rewards were distributed.
In Capsule Draw, you can spend Gold or Diamonds to do a Heroic Draw, or use Capsule Coins to do a Legendary Draw.
You can obtain Capsule Coins:
The top-tier rewards for Capsule Draw changes every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and refreshes every day.
See the article on currency for more information about Capsule Draw.
Every day, you can send Friendship Points to people in your friends list, and they can send Friendship Points to you in return. Friendship Points are used for doing Friendship Summons, or can be used to buy Wings.
One of the most important features regarding friends is that you can borrow your friends' dragons in Adventure mode. This is very helpful if you are struggling with a stage! The friend whose dragon you borrowed will also gain some Friendship Points as a reward. After you borrow a friend's dragon, you cannot borrow their dragon again for another 6 hours.
Make sure to befriend active people, and to send out Friendship Points every day!
You can also battle against your friends' teams in a friendly battle. Useful for practicing a new team, although note that Mastery may have no effect in Friendly Battles (this is undetermined at the current time - Mastery is taken into account in Clan Friendly Battles, however). You gain 6 Friendship Points whenever you battle a friend, regardless of the outcome.
The Witch's Cauldron sells a variety of items, and the contents of her shop changes naturally every hour, or you can refresh it with 100 diamonds.
She sells:
