This is your main goal from the beginning, and you will spend a lot of time in Adventure even after completing it. It’s pretty straightforward: do your best!
When monsters die in adventure mode, they may provide an offering in the shape of a blue ball, which can contain gold, amethyst, or diamonds.
The amount may seem little, but with how often you will end up grinding Adventure, the numbers can add up to massive amounts.
When you successfully clear a stage, you will receive some rewards:
You also gain some rewards for reaching stage 4 and stage 7 of a chapter.
Don’t forget to pick them up as you go through your adventure!
The Master’s Path quests offer you missions that largely coincide with your progress in Adventure, which gives more rewards at certain milestones.
You can also get more rewards by fulfilling goals every stage, which gives you a star ranking based on whether or not you filled those goals. You can then collect rewards based on how many stars you have collected every chapter: these rewards are always Amethyst, Gold, and Diamonds.
So basically put either one in the team with 4 other dragons you want to level up.
The higher the difficulty of a stage, the more EXP your dragons gain.
From 8pm until 10pm based on your server’s time, Adventure Mode will have a banner announcing that it is Hot Time.
During this time, you get 50% more EXP during weekdays or 100% more EXP during weekends.
As you can guess, this is prime grinding time.
You can grind fodder during other times, but it is not recommended because it will use up a lot more wings.
But it’s fine to do it at times because you are in a rush, because you just need one more fodder to get that dragon up to 6-stars, or because you can’t grind during Hot Time.
This is especially true if you are part of a high level clan and already have high EXP bonus - there’s no need to wait for Hot Time if you already have 100% EXP bonus and are raring to go!
Every now and then, you will receive an in-game notification that there will be Hot Time for 48 hours over a weekend. During this time, the gold you receive as a victory reward from Adventure stages will be doubled.
This is an extremely good time to grind especially if you have auto pick-up (you can save your free monthly auto-pick up for these days).
In Hell, you can receive between roughly 3500 and 5000 gold as a victory reward from each stage. When you play during Gold Hot Time, you can receive up to 10,000 gold per stage! Factor in Clan level rewards, you may get even more! Not to mention the extra that you can gain from auto pick-up.
Something I like to do when Gold Hot Time is announced is to do a big summon shortly before the day begins, so that I have plenty to grind over the whole 48 hours. I also like to buy the $0.99 Gold boost, to further increase my gold rewards. At the end of the weekend, I've gained a sizeable loot in Gold, Diamonds, and Amethyst - not to mention the now fully-levelled dragons I have.
An Adventure team is the first team you have to build in the game. As such, building a team for finishing Adventure is straightforward. You will need:
When you first begin, you may find yourself with an abundance of Wings. If you play this game seriously for some time, however, you will soon find yourself out of Wings. You can buy some with friendship points, but the most likely way is by spending diamonds.
It will become necessary to buy Wings after some time, but rest assured that it is very worth it.
For instance, if you spend your diamonds solely on summoning, there is no way you will be able to level them up or get good runes for them without also buying some Wings.
Furthermore, if you need more fodder, grinding the dragons that currently need to be levelled up in any stage except for stage 7 will drop Unknown Eggs, which can then be used as more fodder.
This is not taking into account the other resources you will get from Adventure, such as Amethysts and Diamonds.
So when you are in need of Wings, don't hesitate to buy them from the Shop, and also whenever they appear on discount in the Witch Shop!
In this mode, you send out 5 dragons to explore a region. You can gain runes and amethyst from sending your dragons out to Explore.
Sending out dragons with high Closeness increases the chances of them coming back with a Rare rune.
You can only obtain Normal and Rare rarity runes from Explore.
The amount of time it takes for your dragons to finish exploring a region depends on the region:
You can make an exploration finish instantly by paying some diamonds. It is not recommended to do this under any circumstances - it is far too expensive.
