An Adventure team is the first team you have to build in the game. As such, building a team for finishing Adventure is straightforward. You will need:
A team I often suggest to beginners is Water Wonder, Fire or Water Lambgon, Earth Witch, Earth Smart, and another DPS such as Mini, Clown, or Spine.
You could also go with another support or tank, such as Light Pharaoh or one of the Gales.
I recommend this team since these are all dragons that are very easy to get, and you will probably end up with all of them fairly quickly.
(This is a suggested team ONLY. You do not have to have this exact team - you can simply follow the team structure guide. This team is for you to get the gist of how to develop a good Adventure team.)
Scattered formation gives an ATK boost, so it is one of the most overall useful formations. This is the formation I recommend for the sample team above.
Water Wonder is an excellent dragon to put in front, as well as Earth Smart, which has enough HP to absorb damage for its teammates. As this team has Wonder as a tank, other boosts are unnecessary.
An absolute beast for many PvE content, especially Adventure. Its zombie skill is amazing, as it makes it one less dragon you don’t need to maintain with a heal - just keep tapping its drag skill whenever it becomes available and watch the results.
Double Wonder teams using both Dark and Water Wonder work extremely well in Adventure. The #1 recommended dragon for Adventure, and very easy to use for beginners!
Wonder’s friend. She has a passive skill that extends the buffs of her teammates at the front, so she can extend Wonder’s zombie duration for as long as she is alive.
The duration increase stacks as well, so a Witch whose skill is maxed only needs to survive for 1 or 2 minutes to extend Wonder’s zombie to five minutes or longer.
Earth Witch provides mana, which is helpful for using drag skills more often, especially if you have a cooldown reduction dragon such as Bagma or Alien.
This little sheep increases the speed at which you recover mana when one of your dragons uses a drag skill.
Water, Fire, and Earth are used when you use dragons of predominantly 2-mana cost drag skills. Light and Dark are used when you have more dragons that use 3-mana cost drag skills. Thus, for this recommended team, you can use Water, Fire, or Earth Lambgon.
Water is also useful in Colosseum, as its ability to silence enemies can come in handy.
A recommended healer largely because it is one of the starters offered at the beginning of the game, and is thus the most available to new beginners. Earth Smart is very overall useful though, thanks to its heal increasing dragons’ ATK stat, and occasionally removing buffs on the enemy (more useful in Colosseum than Adventure, however).
If you chose Lightning Dragon at the beginning, another dragon that can work in a pinch is Lady. Light Lady is the best, but the other Ladys can also work. Lady has a passive skill that can heal its teammates by a huge amount, and it heals 4 targets at one time.
The provided team has only 4 dragons, so it is up to you to decide what other dragons to place in it. Another attacker would be ideal in order to progress through Adventure quickly.
More than 2 attackers is not recommended, as you will end up short on mana.
Spine dragon is a decent damage-dealer, especially Dark, which is easier to build than Light or Water. It hits 6 targets, so it does well as a large area-of-effect attacker.
Catsgon is also good, especially Dark and Water, which are easy for beginners to obtain and use.
Many Rare and above damage-dealers can pull their weight in Adventure without a problem. 2-mana dragons are often preferred as they are easier to use, but there are many excellent 3-mana dragons that will also help, such as Arkana (Dark or Water), and Clown (Light or Water). (Spine is also a 3-mana-cost dragon.)
If you use at least 2 dragons whose drag skill costs 3 mana, you may want to use a Light or Dark Lambgon (or Cupid) instead of other elements.
