I am fortunate to have been given a myriad of professional growth opportunities throughout my career. Under my consulting company "Parent PhD," I have worked with Parents magazine, consulted for an early care and education court case and conducted various workshops and professional development sessions for preservice and in-service teachers. Along with numerous digital documentation hubs, I also published two textbooks in both paperback and digital format. I brought Google for Education and Microsoft for Educators into our Teacher Education program, and I train students and teachers in the many applications that they encompass. And finally, I successfully restructured a non-profit child development center and its board of directors, changing it from a failing and poorly-managed center into a successful and highly accredited non-profit child development center and laboratory school.
I have created a sub-page under this main page for each of my Scholarship and Professional Growth examples. These pages briefly describe the work I have done and then provide links, documents, photographs and screen shots to further explain my professional work.
