Student Teacher Score Database

Student teachers are observed and evaluated by their cooperating teachers and their faculty supervisors numerous times during their student teaching experience. The evaluations include numeric scoring and calculations. Student grades in every teacher education course are also collected and sorted. This large amount of data is used in our college program evaluations and for accreditation. The data has always been recorded and calculated manually. During the 2016-17 school year, I offered to create an Excel spreadsheet to record the data and then automatically calculate any data we need. I created a three sheet template with formulas for calculating and sorting different types of data that can used each semester. We now have a digital record of all student teacher scores as well as different sorted data that is required for program evaluation and accreditation.
