Eye colors can be saturated to your liking, but mouth colors may only be saturated if inherited.
You are allowed to add light shading and highlights to the mouth, lip, and flesh colored areas, as long as the colors and anatomy are still visually comprehensible.
Common mouth colors are always a free design option.

The lip colors may either use the Common Mouth Colors, or match the design's Special Mouth Color if it was inherited from a parent or grandparent. When using the design's special mouth color, you are allowed to use a slightly darker or lighter shade of that color for the lip color.
The nose, pawpads, and inner ears may use the Common Mouth colors, or use colors from the base coat or marking sliders. There may be minimal spotting or patching using two valid colors on the pawpads and/or nose.
