One of the main, unique features of Dracovix ARPG is that your dracovix characters can obtain a humanoid form which they call their Second Life, and learn to shapeshift to and from that form! When dracovix reveal their Second Life form to other intelligent races, their race is referred to by these races as "Kyeriugon" (kyeh-ryoo-gone), and dracovix have adopted this word into their own vernacular to keep the real name of their species a secret.
When your dracovix gains the title, Seasoned, at 150 Np, or has any title above that, then your dracovix can now attain a Second Life, and you can add a humanoid design to it. There are some rules for how your dracovix's Second Life should look, anatomy wise, but otherwise, everything is free reign, from clothes, hair styles, skin tones, and more!
Here are some examples of the different forms of Second Life your dracovix could shapeshift into:
[example pics of anthro(furry), satyr style, kemonomimi style (with feet paws), and minimalist (just tail and eyecolor)]
Most dracovix choose to hide their wings because they just get in the way in their Second Life.
As shown in the above examples, your dracovix's Second Life form can be styled a wildly different number of ways! And if you're choosing one of the human-hybrid forms like satyr-style, kemonomimi, and miminalistic, the "human" part doesn't have to be human. It can be another fantasy race of humanoid, such as elf, dwarf, halfling, orc, etc., as long as the race has human-level intelligence and a bipedal form with two hands.
The "human part" of your dracovix's humanoid form also can't already be a hybrid style race, such as a minotaur, a satyr, a tabaxi, a griffin, or a kemonomimi of a different animal species.
Taur style hybridization is not possible due to the extreme complications of the dracovix's anatomical functions.
No matter what style of hybridization your dracovix's Second Life takes, there are some minimum requirements its design needs to fulfill:
The Second Life form must have a tail. This tail should be your dracovix's tail as it is designed in their import, and should look to be at minimum a length that reaches the floor when slack, and at maximum a length that is triple their height. The tail can be thick and robust or thin and lion-like, as long as it tapers gradually at the end. The only exception to this rule would be if your dracovix lost their tail due to an injury, and this amputation of their tail has been reflected officially in their import.
The Second Life form must have at least one matching trait to its true form, not including the tail. This can be a number of things including but not limited to: eye color and pupils, hair color (using the colors of the coat or marking designs, can be multi-colored), claws, the dracovix ears, horns, wings, feet, or talons.
[examples of dracovix humanoids with tail, but also matching eye colors, hair colors, etc.]
Even if you make your dracovix's Second Life form as human as possible, dracovix can't hide their tails and one other small aspect of themselves!
Before you can begin drawing or writing your dracovix's new form in prompts and earn Np for them, you need to first create an artwork of their Second Life form, to serve as their reference sheet.
At minimum, this artwork needs to be a fullbody, flatcolored drawing of your dracovix's Second Life form.
It must be SFW - if your dracovix's humanoid form shows bare skin in the groin area, it needs to be clothed. Breast shapes are allowed, but visible nipples are not permitted regardless of sex.
Your dracovix can only have one Second Life form, not multiple! So you have to pick one of the styles of hybridization and stick to it. But you can include additional outfits in your reference sheet that your character will be wearing in artwork or literature featuring it.
The reference artwork can be drawn by other artists, as long as the description of the entry clearly states it is for you to use, or you have permission to upload it and clearly credit the artist in the description.
If you wish to write about your dracovix's Second Life form instead to serve as your reference artwork, it needs to be at minimum 300 words, and very thoroughly describe your character's humanoid form, from every part of its anatomy, to its build, to its colors, and the shapes and colors of the outfits it wears. Approval process for written descriptive references will be more strict, but we will make sure to ask you for exactly the information you need to include for it to pass. This is so that your character's written reference sheet can be easily used by artists or other writers who may be creating entries of your character with its Second Life form.
As soon as the Second Life form is approved and posted as a reply to the import comment "Trophies", you may immediately begin earning Nobility Points for drawing and writing your dracovix in their Second Life form as long as it matches their reference! You can use their Second Life form in almost all aspects of the ARPG, and you can even complete their Tier 2 Proofs of Self and any Bonding in their Second Life form.
If at any point you wish to change your dracovix's Second Life design or form, you can do so by simply submitting the new design to import updates again.
Some dracovix enjoy the benefits of having dexterous hands to craft items with and may take on their Second Life form even when they're not infiltrating human settlements.
