One of the core, beloved features of most ARPGs, Dracovix included, is mashing two members of a closed species together to try your luck at getting some epic combinations of rare genes on your next character. This is also the primary way to get more dracovix into the game and into your collection! The dracovix pair being bred must be of opposite sexes, however there are ways in the game for you to get a litter with a pair of same-sex dracovixen. A dracovix's personal gender doesn't have any bearing on its sex and its ability to procreate with the opposite sex.

To breed in Dracovix, you need four things:

1. Rights to Breed

2. Proof of Self

3. Date

4. User Breeding Slot

All dracovix have a set number of breeding slots, starting at 5, and increasing after reaching certain titles. These are used up when a dracovix breeds, regardless of the result of the breeding, even if no viable kits are produced, and a dracovix needs one unused breeding slot to breed again.

Rights to Breed are the rights to use a dracovix's breeding slot. You can gain these breeding rights by owning the dracovix character being bred, or by owning the "slots", also known as "breeding slots," "breeding permissions," or "slot permissions" from another player's dracovix, given to you by the dracovix owner(s).

When you receive a slot to a starter through a monthly quest or event, your linked proof to the slot permission will be posted in that specific monthly quest or event journal's comment thread.

A User Breeding Slot, unlike a regular breeding slot permission for a dracovix to breed, represents how many times you as a player are allowed to submit a dracovix breeding in the game.

Every month starting on the 1st day, you have 3 User Breeding Slots. 

Unused breeding slots do not carry over to the next month.

Any of your 3 User Breeding Slots may be used in Split Breedings, during which the player who posts the breeding will use up their User Breeding Slot, and the player who does not post the breeding, but takes part in the agreed split breeding, does not use up their User Breeding Slots.

A Split Breeding is when you and another user have agreed to share the kits of a breeding, depending on whatever circumstances you agreed on.
