"Proof of Self" is the requirement a dracovix needs to be allowed to breed in the game. Players get their dracovix "proven" by completing three prompts, referred to as the Proofs of Self.
You can have some of your dracovix’s proofs done by other people, but you must do at least one yourself, or collab on at least two out of the three.
You need at least one Tier One Proof and the rest Tier Two’s. You can do more than three Proof prompts if you want, but only the necessary three Tier One and Two prompts are needed and registered to complete a dracovix's Proof of Self.
When all the necessary artworks or literature entries are completed, you can go have them approved at #📐test-of-self!
No two dracovixens are exactly alike. Every dracovix is unique in its physique and appearance, especially yours!
Draw a colored fullbody reference image of your dracovix, or write at least 500 words of description about their physique and build. Written references can include a little bit about their personality and backstory as well. Shading is optional, and the background can be whatever you want or nonexistent. Only one dracovix can be depicted in this prompt at a time. No other characters can be present except phantasms. You can draw your dracovix with or without its equips, but these have to be items your dracovix actually has equipped to its import.
Tier Two artwork must at minimum include a rendered fullbody depiction of the dracovix the Proof is for, and include at minimum a simple, comprehensive background. If needed, feel free to explain the context in the description of your entry.
Tier Two literature must be at least 1000 words. The word count minimum increases by +800 for every additional dracovix completing its Proofs of Self in the same entry.
A maximum of 3 dracovixen in a Proof of Self submission may have the entry count towards the completion of their PoS.
If multiple dracovix are completing their Proofs in the same Tier Two entry, they can be fulfilling different prompts based off the context of the entry's overall story and depicted interactions of the dracovix.
Dracovix must learn to hunt, or practice what they know.
Draw or write your dracovix learning how to hunt from another character. The character teaching your dracovix can be its parent, another older community volunteer, or another non-dracovix character.
There is a moment in everyone’s lives that changed who they were from that moment forward. Whether for good or for worse, that period in your life surely made you who you are today.
Draw or write the scenario in your dracovix’s life when they experienced character development due to the events in its life during that moment.
This world is filled with magic, and whether or not you intend to use it or simply learn of its existence, you’ll inevitably discover its power and potential.
Draw or write your dracovix’s first encounter with magic, or testing out its own magical powers for the first time. Are they a child prodigy? Or can they just not get the hang of it somehow? What was it like when they first experienced magic?
No matter what walk of life you choose, you must learn to defend yourself in this dangerous world where not everyone’s morals are the same, or you probably won’t survive.
Draw or write your dracovix in any battle scenario. Was it attacked and moving on instinct to defend itself? Is it receiving official training from a teacher or parent? Or has it met with an archrival in a duel for glory or death?
In a community, dracovix support one another, and a young dracovix showing willingness to help out in its community is appreciated and praised by the community members.
Draw or write your dracovix volunteering to help others in its community. Examples can be: Cleaning another dracovix’s lair, babysitting young dracovix, or fetching resources for the local blacksmith or crafter.
A dracovix's life is a complex one filled with many opportunities to formulate their own moral principles, and once their own personal sense of right and wrong has developed, many things will come along to test those morals.
Draw or write a time when your dracovix's sense of morality was put to the test, and how they resisted the temptation to break from their personal moral principles. Was it easy to stick to their guns, or did they struggle so greatly with the decision to do right or wrong that they are still teetering on the edge of morality?
Kindness is a powerful force. With it, you can help those who needed it desperately, or win over the hearts of foes who otherwise mean you harm.
Draw or write a time when your dracovix went out of their way to be kind to another character or creature.
Many dracovix walking the path of 'justice' come face to face with the darker reality that this world is not as kind or merciful as they'd hoped it to be.
Draw or write a time when your dracovix experienced the needless cruelty of this world, of unfeeling nature, or of the nature of other beings' actions. How did they respond?
Not all dracovix manage to stay on the path of righteousness, and some allow themselves to adapt to a less conventionally morally righteous lifestyle after an event in their life which prevented them from sticking to the straight and narrow.
Draw or write how your dracovix fell from goodness and accepted a new lifestyle of morally dubious behavior.
To rise above your hurt of the past is to win your freedom. Life is rarely a kind thing in this era, and many dracovix have the emotional scars to show for it. But some find or come into ways to confront their inner darkness, becoming stronger for it, and set on the path towards the healing of their hearts and minds.
Draw or write a moment in your dracovix's life when they fully processed or received the closure they needed for a traumatic event in their past and were able to move forward in their life with an invigorated interest in thriving on despite the bad things that happened to them. Did they learn any healthy coping mechanisms? Did they talk to a friend or counselor? Did someone who hurt them in the past apologize to them? Did they learn about a long held secret that explains all that happened in the past and re-frames it in a new light?
