COVID 19 Prevention Continues
Discovery families are encouraged to remain vigilant about COVID19 prevention measures and to maintain the mask-wearing and handwashing habits the children have worked hard to master.
If there is any sign of sickness or illness of any kind, please remember to keep your child at home as this will help us to maintain a healthy school environment.
Please note well that all Covid19 Prevention Measures that were put in place in Term 1 will be maintained in Term 2 and beyond.
Every child must wear a mask before coming out of their car. Please ensure your child also has a spare mask in a suitable protective container (e.g. a ziplock plastic bag), in his/her school bag.
Always pack a healthy snack for your child every day.

What if a family member or other close contact tests positive?
If any family member tests positive during this term, the family is required to complete this form.
Discovery Masks
Every child will be issued 3 Discovery masks with their own names on them. The 3 masks will cost each child RWF 10,000, to be paid when you collect the student cards. The masks will be distributed on the first day of school as far as possible.
Masks must be worn properly on arrival before your child exits the vehicle.

Student cards
Your child will be presented with 2 types of cards; an access card as proof of fees payment as well as a card for pick-up authorisation.
Your child's pick up authorisation cards will be available within 5 working days of their registration and tuition payment. The pick-up card has a longer processing window because it must come with the child's photo.
Your child’s access card (evidence of fees payment) will be ready in 48 hours or less.
Attach a photo of your child to your proof of payment; the photo should be of excellent quality, preferably taken at a studio or with your phone. If you use your phone, please take it outside using natural light against a totally white background. The child's face should directly face the camera and the photo must include your child’s head and the top of the shoulders.
The student card MUST be presented daily at both arrival and departure
