HOW TO SETUP FACEBOOK PIXEL ON WORDPRESS

Login to Facebook using serbisyo.com@gmail.com.

Go to business.facebook.com and type "pixels" on the search bar. Then, select "Pixels".

Go to Data Sources and click "Add New Data Source".

Click "Add New Data Source" and choose "Facebook Pixel".

Type the pixel's name and click "Create".

Select "Manually Install Pixel Code Yourself".

Copy the code on the second step by selecting it.

Install the "Insert Headers and Footers".

Go to Settings-->Insert Headers and Footers then paste the code on the "Scripts in Header" box.

Click "Save".

HOW TO CHECK IF THE FB PIXEL TRACKING CODE SETUP IS RIGHT

Install the "Facebook Pixel Helper" chrome extension to check if the Facebook pixel tracking code is successfully setup on the website.

Visit the website. The Facebook Pixel Helper should tell you that there is one pixel on the website which means we have successfully setup the tracking code.

HOW TO TRACK EVENTS

There are two ways to track events: By setting up events using the Facebook Event Setup Tool or by creating custom conversions.

Click "Use Facebook's Event Setup Tool".

Enter the website URL where you want to track events and click "Open Website".

We can track events with this tool by using "Track New Button" or "Track a URL".

To track events using "Track New Button", click "Track New Button" and select the button you want to track as an event.

Select an event type for the button you chose and click "Confirm".

To track events using "Track a URL", go to the link you want to setup an event to and click "Track a URL".

Select the event you'd like to track using that URL and click "Confirm".

TRACK EVENTS BY CREATING CUSTOM CONVERSIONS

Go to the Data Sources of FB PIxels and click "Create Custom Conversion" or click the logo on the left side.

Enter the URL where you want to track the event to, the name of the event, choose a category for it and enter a value (preferrably 1.00). Then, click "Create".
