The Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) of SDO Ligao City leads initiatives that support the K to 12 Curriculum and inclusive education by ensuring the development, quality assurance, and equitable access to learning resources. LRMS implements five flagship projects—SAVE, SCOPE, INNOVATE, LIGHT, and FASTS—each with distinct goals aimed at strengthening ADM delivery, building teacher capacity, promoting innovative resources, advancing literacy, and improving LRM systems. These projects collectively aim to enhance student learning outcomes by providing high-quality, accessible, and relevant educational materials for all learners and teachers.
Project SAVE: Strengthening ADM for Viable Education
Enhances the development and delivery of quality-assured learning resources for Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), ensuring continuous and flexible learning for all types of learners.
Project SCOPE: Strengthening Capacities and Opportunities for Professional Excellence
Builds the skills and competencies of teachers, learning resource developers, and school personnel through training, mentoring, and professional development activities related to learning resource management.
Project INNOVATE: Initiating New Opportunities for Versatile and Effective Teaching Resources
Promotes the creation and use of innovative, localized, and learner-centered resources to improve teaching effectiveness and learner engagement.
Project LIGHT: Literacy Initiatives for Growth, Hope, and Transformation
Supports literacy development through the creation and distribution of reading materials, the conduct of reading programs, and partnerships that address the reading needs of diverse learners, especially in priority areas.
Project FASTS: Fostering Access and Streamlining Tools for LRM Services
Strengthens systems and processes to improve the access, organization, and delivery of learning resources through digital platforms, efficient inventory management, and streamlined LRM services.
