Grade 1 Mathematics Intervention Lessons were collaboratively developed by Krizzia Mae C. Pedrajeta, Teacher III of Ligao West Central Elementary School (Binatagan), and Kristine T. Orolfo, Master Teacher I of Ligao West Central Elementary School (Dunao). These materials underwent a thorough quality assurance process led by Dr. Jojim B. Cordova, Education Program Supervisor in Mathematics, and Rommel Carl R. Peralta, Education Program Supervisor in the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS).
The development of these intervention lessons was driven by the need to address the diverse learning gaps observed among Grade 1 pupils in Mathematics, particularly in mastering fundamental concepts and skills such as number sense, basic operations, patterns, measurement, and problem-solving. Each intervention package consists of a Learning Activity Sheet and a Lesson Guide, making it a practical resource not only for teachers but also for parents and guardians who wish to assist their children at home. This dual-component design ensures that adults guiding the learners have clear instructions and ready-to-use activities, allowing for consistent support both in school and at home.
These intervention materials aim to support teachers in delivering focused remediation and enrichment activities, ensuring that no learner is left behind in achieving the essential skills needed for lifelong numeracy and academic success.
To ensure accessibility, you may access and download the materials through the link provided, enabling both school and home-based learning support.
EXPLORE PHYSICAL SCIENCE
The Explore Physical Science – Senior High School Learning Modules for Upland and Coastal Schools is thoughtfully designed to provide learners with a meaningful, engaging, and contextually relevant exploration of Physical Science concepts. In the module serves as a valuable resource for teachers by providing structured lessons, guided activities, and reflective tasks that support effective and responsive instruction. It promotes a balance between guidance and learner autonomy, allowing teachers to facilitate meaningful learning experiences while maintaining academic rigor. This module aspires to cultivate scientifically literate learners who can connect classroom concepts to real-world situations. By integrating experience-based, context-based, and inquiry-based learning—and by grounding its learning episodes in the authentic experiences of learners from Ligao City—it transforms the study of Physical Science into a dynamic and enjoyable journey. It inspires both teachers and students to explore, experiment, and discover the wonders of science within their own environment.
