Deceased Wildlife

Deceased wildlife on a Deerfield roadway or municipal property should be reported to the township staff at (856) 455-3200.

If the deceased wildlife is causing a roadway hazard, please call the Cumberland County Communications Center at (856) 455-8526 or 9-1-1.

We will attempt to remove non-hazardous deceased wildlife from the side of roadways or other municipal property within two business days. In some instances, the county or state will move the deceased animal and their time frame may be longer.

Any domestic animals (dogs, cats, other household animals) should be reported to the township's Animal Control Officer at (856) 455-3200 during business hours or (856) 455-8526 after hours.
