Melanie has always had a hard life, she never seemed to get what she wants, nor does she have many friends. She's always been an average girl with average dreams. In high shool, she was desperate for money so ended up participating in compensated dating. The girls at her school ended up finding out, spreading nasty rumors about Melanie. Melanie ended up moving to a different school, but somehow the rumor ended up getting back around. She joined the drama club at her school and landed many main roles in plays. Melanie then had a good... yet bad reputation. She didn't mind, she grew to love the attention. Everyone in the drama club ended up turning on Melanie and kicked her out of the drama club. They knew she was only there for the attention. She fell into a depression due to this, and everyone in the school started making fun of her for being addicted to attention. She then gained her title as ultimate Attention Monger... she hates this title, and wish she didn't own it. Melanie only ever loved the attention because she wasn't very happy with her life, and just wanted to feel as though she was being praised for doing good. Melanie graduated and ran into Savannah at a local supermarket. Savannah offered her a job at the New Future Foundation after Melanie admitted she was given a role as an Ultimate. Melanie wants to bring down Junko Enoshima just like she was brought down in her highschool days.
