Benjamin is a great guy, but doesn't like uncalled for attention, preferring to stay out of drama. Ben enjoys his classmates a lot, but he wouldn't go out of his way to actually announce this to them. He also doesn't feel like he is capable of actually protecting his classmates. Either way, Ben is perfectly fine with just being known as "that dude that wears to glasses in class 1-2" or just "that nice dude in Natsumi's class".

Benjamin was made to be in Komasan Lover's original “Komalator" mod. Benjamin was originally made to be the Senpai of the mod. Ben was also given his name to be a play on the word “Senpai". So this would cause Benjamin to be referred as “Benpai". This is also the reason for Benjamin closely representing Taro Yamada, but with glasses. But the idea of him being senpai was overtime scrapped. Benjamin was chosen fourteenth to participate in the killing game.
