After the game, Zachary continued to try to take the world's best photo for a while more. Eventually he found himself always looking back at his old classmates in photos, where they were all together happily smiling and having fun. He realized over time these were the world's best photos. He tends to keep the group together, mostly by meeting up with one of his friends, and then the next friend he meets up with, he shares stories from the last. He cuts ties with Jacob after a while, he didn't want to hold Jacob back from improving and finding his real memories locked away in his mind.

Zach was always planned to survive the game, but not the way he did. He was never meant to take spot of Autumne as protagonist, but this helped him grow in the long run. He stuck to his silly yet mysterious persona all the way through, and was definitely the best choice as sub protag. Zachary is 1 of 6 KG survivors.
