Research on Google

Here's a page started on November 1st, 2017 about my research on Google.

You'll find honest / interesting opinions about this search giant.

2018/5/12:

I've noticed that things are quite different in the U.S. version of Google, I noticed that on my flight back from Atlanta to Narita. I was using iPad Pro 10.5 and yes, couple things were quite different from Japanese version.

2018/2/21:

I found out an article about Google Brain working on making Wikipedia articles by making a summary from long text a while ago. It uses machine learning and GPU.

2018/1/18:

I found a book on how to program Google Home with intent with Python in Junkudo. Looked interesting, but didn't buy it. Maybe I will in the near future.

2018/1/7:

I am thinking of getting a SIM-free smartphone that runs Android (maybe ASUS etc.)

2017/12/25:

I've bought the Google Home Mini the other day since it was on sale, 3000 JPY (less than $30 USD). I'm planning to use it for light development for the device. The device has some cool features!

11/1/2017: On the left is a screenshot taken today on my XPERIA Z5 using Google Assistant on Allo. Google Assistant is very interesting to have conversation with, especially when you don't have company.

It is also interesting as it gives you daily "豆知識" (small facts) daily.

SuperAI Search is going to have conversational function, it now has "what's the weather in" function on the MySQL version.

If you have some tips you'd like to feature here, let me know on twitter at @stingraze I will post it here with your name or handle name.

I've noticed that Google has "People also ask" box which then you can open up to show answers. The photo below is Google's results about Emma Watson.
