5/8/2021: I bought the 3D printer from XYZ Printing the other day since I really want to make my own PDA / Handheld PC. The one I bought prints 12cm x 12cm x 12cm so it's really small, but I think I will make a part that can get connected together to make the frame of the handheld / PDA. I am thinking of a plan to use a really tiny bluetooth keyboard that will connect to Rasberry PI Zero with a small e-ink display. I will try to design it in CAD soon.
The Zaurus I have is a good example of good hardware, I have to research more on the hinge part as it will need to stand upright and not loose.
Updated: 1/23/2021 (EMONSTER S11HT (Tytn II) part added
Above is a NEC / NTT Docomo Sigmarion 3 running FreeDOS(98) with Neko Project II. It took me a while to configure things, but I'm glad it worked
Update: 11/1/2020: I got a few programs like a light version of Emacs to work on the Sigmarion 3's PC-98 Emulator (Neko Project II).
Here's a thread I posted on HPC:Factor. (has more pictures there)
PDA (Personal Data Assistant) is something I've been using and is an expert in since around 2001.
I've bought the Cassiopeia E-700WE running Pocket PC 2000 back in those days, and developed quite a few of Pocket PC themes for the devices. I've also listed Pocket PC apps on sites such as PocketGear and Handango circa 2004. My travel with PDA has brought me to many places, and I feel proud that I could foresee potential in these devices at an early age.
I now use Pocket PC / Windows CE / Zaurus PDAs both for hobby and work, I sometimes export PDAs to customers all over the world through eBay.
Some PDAs I really like:
Sigmarion 3
Sigmarion (1)
well not exactly a PDA but, EMONSTER S11HT (Tytn II variant)
Some ongoing projects that I am thinking of continuing: Browser for Windows CE 4.0 + (https://github.com/stingraze/tinybrowser ) written (well, ported actually in eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0)
I am in the process of writing a tutorial to use Ubuntu 16.04 to develop applications for Windows CE devices using ARM. (as of 4/14/2018)
I am going to write more Android apps and maybe pickup Swift in 2018, so keep tuned for development in those field as well!

Here's a thread on HPCFactor which I am writing about CeGCC. I made it work on Ubuntu 16.04.
The detailed steps are there: https://www.hpcfactor.com/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=18436
I list some PDAs I have owned in the past: (I still keep the best ones I like)

10/30/2020:
I am going to try to run DOS on PC-9801 series emulator on my Sigmarion 3. The emulator is called Neko Project II, and developed by a Japanese. I got the emulator to run by editing the gx.dll's .ini file. I downloaded the gx.dll made for Sigmarion 3 from the internet from a Japanese site. Next, I have to make the image or download a free DOS for PC=9801 if I can.
E-700WE, the first PDA I bought.
Cassiopeia A-51
New: 2021/1/23
My most favorite smartphone from a while back: (almost PDA since it has Windows Mobile inside) It is called EMONSTER S11HT, which is a Japanese EMOBILE (company that became Yahoo Mobile under Softbank) version of Tytn II.
I really like the keyboard of this device, and like the size too. The camera is a little clunky, but it does its job if you aren't looking for high quality pictures. (You can use your new smartphones for that, lol)
I emulated Linux on top of Sigmarion 3's Windows CE.NET 4.1 using BOCHS. Here's a video I uploaded on YouTube.
Sigmarion 3 is very usable even today (2018). I am planning to develop several apps this year, so stay tuned. I'm also on hpcfactor's forum a lot, and my user name there is stingraze.

Mohawk Search Pocket (for Windows Mobile etc.) compiled with Visual Studio .NET 2005.
*requires .NET Compact Framework v2 to run. Below is a different UI of Mohawk Search running on my iPaq I got from my good friend, Mikey Pizano.

Note: It will not run on x86_64 platforms. It will run on ARM based Windows Mobile devices.
