Code of Conduct

We are committed to offering an inclusive, collaborative and safe space for everyone involved in this event. We ask that all participants are committed to supporting equity, diversity and inclusion; we also ask that all participants have read the PIMS Code of Conduct and agree to follow it.

COVID Policies

We ask that all in-person participants take a COVID test in the 24-hour window before the workshop begins (between 9 am Sunday, July 24 and 9 am Monday, July 25 Pacific time). Rapid COVID tests will be available in your residence room. If you test positive, or have COVID-like symptoms, please attend the workshop online instead of coming to the workshop meeting room. We encourage all in-person participants to wear masks while inside (masks can be removed for eating and drinking), as per UNBC’s COVID policy. In particular, it is noted that “masks are not required but are recommended at our campuses and worksites. We strongly recommend that you continue to wear masks in all indoor public areas, including classrooms, laboratories, lobbies, hallways, stairwells and elevators.”
