Workshop on
Moments of L-functions
Here is a report summarizing the workshop.
In lieu of having a problem session during the workshop, we will be creating a list of open problems related to the theme of the workshop, including any of the topics:
moments and zeros of L-functions
non-vanishing of L-functions
multiple Dirichlet series
shifted convolution sums
random matrix theory
spectral theory of automorphic forms
We will circulate this list of problems to participants during the week of the workshop, and it will remain available afterwards as well.
Our hope is that this list will stimulate research and lead to future collaborations amongst workshop participants. In particular, problems on the list are intended to be available for anyone to decide to work on. We encourage you to contribute any open problems that you don’t mind sharing, or problems that you’re not actively working on (unless you are seeking collaborators). Each problem that is listed will have the name and affiliation of the submitter unless requested otherwise. Please send suitable problems to Nathan Ng ⟨nathan dot ng at uleth dot ca⟩ using LaTeX syntax; please send the uncompiled TeX source so that we can combine them into one master list.
The workshop EDI session was split in two parts was and directed by Aman Litt (UNBC Associate Vice-President, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion).
