To help you organize and present your work for this unit, you will create a showcase website using Google Sites. This website will include a landing page for each project, along with linked subpages that explain the learning and development behind each project. The checklist below will guide you through everything you need to include on your website to ensure you meet all the project requirements and are ready for grading.
Your website, created using one Google Site, is the only marked work for this unit. Each project should be included on this single site and follow these steps:
1. Landing Page (Introduction)
For each project, you need to:
Create a landing page for the project on your Google Site.
Include an image of the project on the landing page.
Write a short description on the landing page explaining:
What the project is about.
What you learned while working on it.
What the project can do.
2. Linked Subpages for Each Project
Each project must have at least one linked subpage connected from the landing page. This subpage should include:
Images from at least one tutorial or learning activity.
Text explaining what you learned from the tutorial or activity.
Text explaining how you applied what you learned to the project. How did these skills help you create the project?
3. Showcase of Finished Work
For each project, make sure to include:
Infographic (Canva):
An image of your completed infographic.
Interactive Animation or Game (Scratch):
A link to your finished animation or game so others can view or play it.
3D Model and 3D Printed Object (Tinkercad):
An image of your finished 3D model or the printed object.
Remember, everything must be inside the one Google Site you’re building, and each project must have both a landing page and at least one linked subpage with detailed explanations of the learning and development behind it.
Following this checklist will make sure your site includes everything needed for grading!
At the end of the unit, your website must be published and set to be visible only to school users. Once you've finished your work, you will submit the link to your website on Google Classroom for grading. Make sure everything is updated and complete before submitting the link!
