NORTH STAR STORIES
20 Minute Live Show
The far north is a place requisite of adventure, bravery, and community to overcome harsh physical and mental conditions. Take a breather at the campfire in Tales of the North Star, a 20-minute sing-along / adventure show where an assortment of cast members take turns telling stories by the fire. Sing, clap, or dance along as the frontiersmen and women expound upon life in the far north in the 1800s.
Some are lighthearted sing-alongs, others tales of adventures, and others are geninue Iniut legends (specified as such at the beginning of the tale) spoken with the consent of the tribes from which the story derives. At night, the show expands to include a brief Aurora Borealis effect on the all-indoors land, mimicking the real phenomena. Tales of the North Star grounds you in the lands and traditions of the Arctic Circle circa 1800.

ICECUBE FEVER
Street Performance
Down by the lake, watch as the residents of the Stargazing Expedition field ice to help fund their scientific discoveries. Breaking into the tune of "The Frozen Heart" from Frozen, the Icecube Fever performs for the audience. They then introduce the concept of ice-cutting with a demonstration, which slips up... literally, as the head ice-cutter slips on his ice and drops into the freezing-cold water. After, the remaining ice-cutters decide to play a series of practical jokes on their instructor as the audience watches on.
NARWHAL ENCOUNTER
Animatronic Meet & Greet
The Narwhal lives exclusively in the northernmost reaches of the Arctic Ocean. Fortunately, the expedition at North Star Outpost were brave (or stupid) enough to venture out this far, and so they've met Dave, the friendly narwhal who lives in the ice-patch just yonder... at the exit point to Earth's Undiscoverd Frontier: A Deep Sea Museum.
Come meet Dave the Narwhal! The animatronic hides in the water, but at specific points during the day, he'll start prodding his tusk at the ice overhead. Then, with enough encouragment, he will shyly poke his head up and take photos with guests.
ARCTIC SUNDOWN
5-Min Street Performance
It may be the north - not the west - but it's still the frontier of North America in 1800, and that means some of the adventurers out here are in it for more than the sake of discovery. At 12:00 daily, two rangers (the grunts who help the scientists do all their splendid research) head out from the Outpost to settle a recurring fued... over which ice they get to chop. One of the rangers really likes that ice, but the other rangers claims they got to it first. Ah well, you know who these things go. Calling upon guests on either half of the path to cheer for their respective ranger, the two agree to duel at sundown.
They check their pocket-watch and realize the sun doesn't go down because this is the Arctic, so its always day or night. Having lost this vital formality, the two agree it isn't worth the hassle. But then, both accidently fire - and miss - but the ranger with the less cheers is sufficently spooked and so runs off. The other ranger calls back to them apologizing:
"Hey! I'm sorry? You can have the ice... I really don't need it..."
