Once guests pass the regal Lord James Inn, stone fortifications take precedent in the eyes of guests as the Queen Anne's Fortress looms over the port town. The design of this fort is rather unique, this fortress was built on a side of a cliff on the Irish coast, the waves from the ocean splash on the stone walls as it rises into the air. The main level of the fort is very large with hundreds of stone bricks taking up the walls, turrets are on every corner with cannons facing the sea, protecting the bay. The 2nd and 3rd stories of the fort is home to the barracks of the fortress (and acts as the parks inside hotel).
Guests walk under a stone fortification with a wooden plank holding the fortress's name as they enter the queue of the Tales of the Ocean. A vast forested area lays in front of guests as a stone path separates the forest. As guests walk through the forest, they will see several rotting wooden structures that looked like the original fortifications that have been here for centuries, it's rotting planks and green moss taking centerstage. Many cannons are also through this area as well as spikes that may have been used to keep infantry at bay. Once guests exit the forest, they will enter the fortress itself. The 1st room guests will walk through is the armory, many sets of guns and cutlass's are spread amongst the walls as dozens of cannons and gunpowder barrels are in storage around the room. Several other pieces of equipment are also spread around the room. The 2nd room is the treasure vault, this is where the majority of Branmere's wealth is stored. Guests walk around a very large pile of gold with several priceless artifacts are spread throughout the room as several other mounds of gold are spread throughout the room. The 3rd room is the final guests will go through and it is the dungeon. Several jail cells are laid throughout the hall. As guests walk through the dungeon, they will see several different skeletons that are in various states of decomposition. Guests walk down a set of stairs and enter into the underground catacombs and this is where guests will enter into their boats and explore the many different tales that are spread throughout the worlds many oceans. Every boat can fit 12 people.
The boats start to move as guests get accustomed to their boats but they realize that there is not a single shred of light in these catacombs, the only thing guests can see is the cobweb filled walls of the catacombs but there is a light at the end of the tunnel as the waters of the North Sea lay in front of guests. The waters seem mostly empty with thunderstorm filled skies surrounding guests, guests seem to be in the middle of a very large bay with rocky peaks looking to raise hundreds of feet in the air. But there is a singular island in front of guests, it being massive in size with hundreds of trees covering the island. The waters seem eerily calm and the many creatures that once surrounded guests are now gone as a loud moaning can be heard. As guests approach the island, the formerly calm seas begin to roil as a large head peaks above the water. Guests have met the Hafgufa, a massive island sized entity that was said to trick sailors into thinking they were an island and swallow their ships whole. A massive eye looks at guests, it seems to be calm, for now at least. It's head looks towards an opening in the bay and a massive tale crashes into the sea, sending guests down a 20ft drop and into the next scene. The boats have now entered calmer waters with bright blue waters replacing the deep blue waters of the North Sea.
The Caribbean Sea is where guests find themselves as the boats go near a large tropical island that isn't a living being, palm trees dot the beach as the boats enter into a small fishing village. Guests see a ugly looking boy heading into the forest, the boats following him as he heads deep into the rainforest. Many animals seem to be watching him, 3 frogs on the bank, 2 fish in the water, and a family of parrots seem to be watching his every move. Once the boy exits the deep rainforest, a massive cave lays in front of both the boy and the guests. The boy hobbles into the cave which has dozens of glowing blue pools with glowing plants covering the walls and floor. A massive pond with a towering rock in the center of the pond. That is when the boy finally speaks, calling upon the mythical Mami Wata, a siren like creature that both blesses but can also curse those who she deems have wronged the world. The Mami Wata appears on the rock and gives a summary of his life, he was a good man that had done many good things throughout his life such as him saving his mother from a shark which left him mutilated. She deems that he deserves to be blessed. She leaves the rock and calmy brings the boy into the water. A moment later, the boy appears from the water, looking handsome and stunning with grand riches surrounding him. He bows to the Mami Wata and thanks her for her help. The boats go under a rocky arch and in contrast to that very enjoyable encounter, a striking man appears in front of the Mami Wata and asks for the same thing. The entity deems that he has cursed the world, that man was responsible for the death of dozens. The Mami Wata drags the man into the water as guests enter into another sea.
The water of the Caribbean Sea are replaced with the Mediterranean Sea. The waters are calm as the boats go through the water but a city seems to be in the middle of the ocean. This is Atlantis, the mythical city that was fabled to have sunk into the ocean. The boats go through the canals of the city, going pass Greek inspired buildings as several rudimentary animatronics depict the way that people that lived in Atlantis would do, a shopkeeper haggling prices with a lady, a family visiting a park, 4 guards protecting a bank, and a small girl making a blanket. A deep rumbling is heard as a massive earthquake hits the island, the buildings begin to crumble as the population takes cover inside several buildings. The earthquake eventually ends but as the boats pass under a bridge, the buildings have been destroyed with pillars collapsing and roofs having fallen through but the city is still there, for now. The canals then start to rise, quite quickly. The paths that were formerly above water are now underwater as the city begins to sink into the ocean. It seems that the massive earthquake had made the island's base extremely unstable and it began to fall into the ocean. Guests take a 20ft drop as they dive below the waves and see the sunken city under the water with many ruins spread throughout the bottom of the ocean with the main government building being on top of a massive rock, it barely holding on. The entire city is underwater as the boats go through the now ruined streets. Guests enter into a massive cavern and enter into a thick rainforest in India.
The boats leave the cavern and enter into a winding river in the middle of a vast rainforest, with animals all around guests. As guests move further into the rainforest, the waters begin to move faster as all the animals are now gone, something has seem to scared them off. That is when a loud roar is heard and a rustling in the brush draws guests attention, a tusk peeks through the bush. It appears to be an elephant, that calms guests until the mouth of a crocodile also peeks out. The entire beast then appears out of the brush, towering over the boats. This is the Makara, a mythical beast that is a hybrid of many different animals both terrestrial and water dwelling. The beast begins to charge at the boats until it suddenly stops and steps aside as guests enter into a Mughal temple that looks rather pristine despite it's location deep in the rainforest. The rooms of the temple are filled with treasure and Indian artifacts, the state of the inside is just as nice as the outside. The boats enter into a large chamber that has a statue of the god Varuna is in the center of the chamber with mounds of treasure around the statue as tribute to the deity. The stone statue comes to life as it tells guests the good that how they need to respect nature in order for it to respect you back. Guests see the Makara one final time as the creature bows to guests as the boats leave the temple and enter into more Asian waters.
The boats enter into the waters of the East China Sea, guests are in the middle of the ocean and the skies are clear and the waters calm. That is until a massive thunderstorm enters the area and the waters become rough and the boats begin to rock which leads them to go under the water and enter into an underwater world that is unlike anything else. The ocean's bottom is clear as guests see the Dragon's Palace, home of Ao Guang, controller of the sea and storms. The palace is pristine with Chinese inspired architecture taking precedent with the structure being grand and covered in gold. The boats go through the grand doors and explore the many rooms of the palace, viewing several Chinese artifacts and other myths of the East China Sea until they reach the throne room of the palace with grand columns rising into the air and a grand mural all over the roof depicting the purpose of Ao Guang. That is when an animatronic of the sea god rises from his thrown and explains what his purpose is, basically he controls the ocean and storms but even though he looks intimidating, he is also very wise and tells guests of the importance of being kind to the ocean and how to respect the vast seas. The god leads the boats to the door and leaves guests with one final message as they enter into another sea.
Guests now enter into the waters of the Pacific and the boats are going through a winding river when they approach a cliff and see a mother throwing her baby into the ocean. The boats turn right and see the baby being taken out to sea but a voice is heard and names the baby Maui and gives him his powers and fish hook. Guests see Maui toss his fish hook into the sea and start to pull up something, a small rock appears at the start but then a massive island begins to rise from the ocean until it is completely above water. The next thing guests see is him on a beach as he looks at the sun which is going to fast, he throws his hook to the sun which slows down momentarily until he starts to pull it back, slowing the sun down until it goes at the pace that it goes now today. Guests next see Maui in a series of caverns as he sneaks through the cave system until he enters a large cavern where the god Mahuika is seen looking over her fire. Maui uses his tricks to trick the goddess into giving him the secret of fire, after that guests see him running away as the goddess tries to kill him. The boats then enter into a small village and see how what Maui has done has made their lives easier with a longer day and how fire helps them cook food. The boats then go through a cave and enter back into the British isles and guests disembark their boats and enter into a gift shop.
