Requirements to Graduate
Requirements to Graduate the CAS Program:
Evidence of planning your CAS program via the CAS Planning Sheet (filled and uploaded under the 'Documents' tab of your CAS Profile).
Consistent and ongoing engagement with all three strands of Creativity, Activity, and Service across the 18 months of the program
about an hour a week or equivalent time commitment should be spent on each strand
experiences are accurately and consistently documented with quality monthly reflections and evidence on your CAS portfolio on Managebac
All your experiences must be reviewed by your Supervisor at the end of the experience
a reasonable gap between experiences in one strand of CAS are allowed, such as the off season between sports seasons
Each student must complete a collaborative month-long CAS projectÂ
The CAS Project Planning form should be uploaded as a piece of evidence under that experience on your Managebac profile to demonstrate use of the five CAS stages
** Starting 2023, the Collaborative Science Project will also count for the CAS project. Here is the updated CAS project planning form designed specifically for this.
You must address each of the 7 learning outcomes at least once during your CAS program, demonstrated through reflections and evidence on your Managebac CAS profile.
You must have 3 formal documented interviews with the CAS Coordinator and your Advisor
The Exit Checklist should be filled and uploaded under the 'Documents' tab of your CAS Profile.
