Welcome to the Collaborative Learning Workshop!
This workshop is for educators, leaders, and trainers trying to create an environment of collaborative learning.
Learn how to utilize the Community of Inquiry framework in any setting in order to strengthen the thinking and learning process.
By building a community on the foundation of respectful discourse and engaged learning, students can learn collaboratively.
LO#1: Participants will be able to identify the cognitive fallacies that thinking collaboratively overcomes
LO#2: Participants will be able to define inquiry
LO#3: Participants will be able to describe the purpose of the Community of Inquiry Framework
LO#4: Participants will be able to explain the importance of metacognition
LO#5: Participants will be able to describe the 3 elements that make up the teaching presence
LO#6: Participants will be able to Explain how the 7 principles of practice for CoI are related to the 3 elements of teaching presence
My name is Evan Campbell and I am currently a website designer and social media marketing consultant. I received my Bachelors of Science in Organizational Leadership from Wright State and I am currently pursuing my Masters in education. I feel the number of different positions in college including event planner, judiciary committee member, and fraternity council member. When I'm not working or in school I like to enjoy my time watching a good movie or listen to music.
