These are charms you can put on your weapons! Here's some things to keep in mind:
You may only attach one charm at a time on a weapon - no stacking charms, sorry!
At the start of the session, you may choose what charm to put on what weapon, and let the DMs know!
During combat if you wish to switch the charm on your weapon, it costs an action to do so and the effect of the charm doesn't activate until your next turn.
PALE WINDS CHARM
A cylindrical bead made of wood, and a dove feather at its end. Weapons with this charm attached move the air around them with deadly force. You can use your reaction action on your turn to extend the reach of your weapon by 5ft for an attack.Β
CRIMSON HAIR CHARM
This charm, made of unknown reddish hair and fur, absorbs the bearer's blood as they are inured. If you take damage in one round equal to or greater than half your max health, this item gains one charge. You can then use that charge to add an extra die to your damage on a successful attack.
The Merchant assures this is NOT Kayleigh's hair, despite the rumors.
VEILED CHARM
This charm is covered with strange glyphs and runes. Weapons with this charm attached count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.Β
MOSSED CHARM
A piece of driftwood covered in green lichen, with a tuft of dried coastal grass on its end.
When this charm is attached to a weapon it becomes lighter and better balanced. Allowing ranged weapons to fly further, and melee weapons to be thrown.Β
INFECTED CHARM
This charm smells of sickness and rot. Weapons to which this charm is attached deal an extra 1d6 poison damage on a successful attack, but also harm the bearer for 1d4 poison damage.Β
BOULDER CHARM
This charm is made entirely out of some durable stone and is quite heavy for a small trinket. It dulls any weapon it is attached to, and changes it to a bludgeoning damage type. When using the attached weapon, the bearer has advantage on melee attacks.Β
MINIATURE LANTERN CHARM
This small lantern is made up of a small crystal incased in a metal fastener. When attached to a weapon it begins to glow, acting as a personal light source for the bearer.Β
FROZEN CHARM
An intricate snowflake shaped piece of ice that never melts. When attached to a weapon, it imbues it with an extra 1d4 of frost damage.Β
