THE PERKS TO GETTING MARRIED
You get a week-long mini-event dedicated to the marriage of your two travelers!
The pair of players and the moderator team will get together and plan an event. The players can decide the location of the wedding and the time/date for the written wedding RP! Any art or literature made for the occassion will receive an event multiplier bonus (ie. 2x for normal submissions and 2.5x for collaborated submissions).
They also receive a number of gifts, courtesy of the Company!
2x Lifeblood Amulets
This item is attuned to a person by soaking a drop of their blood into the amulet. While the attuned person is alive, the amulet is warm to touch. If the attuned person dies, the amulet becomes impossibly cold. When the amulet is within 1/2 a mile of the attuned person, it pulses with their heartbeat.
added 0.5x num bonus whenever the two paired travelers are depicted in the same submission
They also get the upper hand in combat through their powerful bond.
Stay With Me (Passive Trait)
It is inevitable that one of you may fall in combat. If this is to happen, being held in your partner's arms gives you the strength to stand back up and continue to fight with them. Being held in your partner's arms, it now takes 4 failed death saves to fully kill you and pull you out of combat. Hope they don't let go.
Partners in Crime (Passive Trait)
Basically DND 5e's Pack Tactics but it's exclusive to your partner! When the two of you are standing within 5 feet of each other, you roll attacks and saving throws with advantage.
What happens if we divorce?
Ahhh that's an unfortunate ending but an inevitable question. If the couple ultimately decides to divorce, then all Passive Traits and num bonus rewards are removed. The only thing left of your marriage will be the Lifeblood amulets for you to keep.
Yeah so don't get married and divorced for the quirks, lmao. If you gonna be married fuckers, get ready to commit for those buffs because WE GOING TO SNATCH YOUR SOUL IF YOU DECIDE TO STEP OUT.
