Grim-Grinning Ghosts Come Out to Socialize
It's no big secret that Cry is an absolute fiend for halloween, and that there's no denying what lengths they'll go to for it. This year, they're extending the celebration past Mirstone, and bringing Halloween to Silutika! With the help of the Beacon Members, they're hoping this'll be an event for the ages.
A "Halloween Village" has been set up in the swamp town known as Bogshire, the natural fog and mysterious everglades setting a perfectly spooky backdrop for the location. There's a market selling all kinds of trinkets, an outdoor tavern with seasonal themed drinks. (Cry really wants to get Silutikans hooked on those Pumpkin Spice Lattes, I swear)
As well as a midway full of games and attractions, similar to last year's event in Mirstone.

1.) Get your spooky on!

Several stalls around the Halloween Village have been set up to give out candy for the very special trick-or-treating tradition, as Cry explained. Now its up to you to show the Silutikans how its done! Dress up in your DTV's Halloween Best, and teach the kids how trick-or-treating works, or at least - how you think it works. Are you going to raise a bunch of little hellions? Or some sweet treaters.
Or maybe you don't want to be responsible for a group, and you'd rather hand out candy instead? Or you're gonna solo this and keep as much candy for yourself as you can, whatever floats your boat!
Depict your traveler in a costume! Are they the one giving candy to the trick-or-treaters or the one trick-or-treating? Are they going with some locals, or on their own? Who cares if you're too old. It's FUN.
2.) Haunted Bayou Boat Ride

What Bogshire lacks in space for sprawling haunted gardens for Cry to make, they make up for in lots of murky swamp rivers and ponds, with twisting trees and deep brush for all things scary to lie in wait for unsuspecting travelers.
Hop on a raft and take a ride through the swampland, and see what kind of scares you can come across! Or become part of the attraction yourself and scare the pants off of passers by.
Depict your traveler either going through the Haunted Bayou Boat Ride to get spooked by whatever's hiding out there, OR be one of the things trying to scare people.
3.) Enjoy the Village!

The Halloween Village is chocked full of all kinds of activities, from midway games, to arts and crafts, lots of food for sale, and all kinds of other stuff. How about a round of bobbing for apples? Or some ring toss? Uhg but those pies smell delicious, I don't know where to start!
Depict your traveler having fun around the Halloween village, are they playing any games? pigging out on food? making some spooky friends? The time is yours to do as you wish!
4.) RP Party! - An Eldritch Undertaking

Beacon never rests, the company is always diligent. Even though there's fun to be had - remember, you're still on duty.
It's all quite hush-hush, so as not to alarm the guests, but there's rumours of something sinister deep within the swampland surrounding Bogshire. It's something that'll need to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
Join the VC for a Halloween themed RP event! Starting Date will be Saturday, October 22nd, around 7pm EST.

[EVERYONE IS GIVEN 2 MONTHS TO COMPLETE THE EVENT TO EARN REWARDS.] That is a lot of time, but if you think you will still be turning in something late, you have until the 10th of the month to submit your creation and receive 1/2 of the reward. After that, we will no longer accept submissions for that prompt unless stated otherwise.
[THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE...] Visual creations (ie. digital & traditional artwork) must submit a colored half-body art and literature must submit at least 1,500 words. Everything will be viewed and read to ensure that the submission addresses the prompt it was made for. If we feel that the submission doesn't quite match the prompt, we'll let you know!
[RP LOGS AND CAMPAIGNS ARE ACCEPTED.] These must at least be 3,000 words. All of the participants will receive the same amount of rewards, so don't worry about figuring out how to split it evenly, haha.
[COLLABORATIONS ARE ALLOWED.] Speaking of which, yes, collaborations are indeed allowed! And you also don't have to worry about splitting the loot equally. Everyone receives the same amount of rewards!
[IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE OF YOUR OWN BEACON TRAVELERS IN THE SAME SUBMISSION...] They will all receive the same amount of rewards since they are participating in the event prompt.
