Silly Symphonies Labyrinth

Much like its cousin, Alice's Curious Labyrinth at Disneyland Paris, The Silly Symphonies Labyrinth will send guests through a beautifully sculpted hedge maze with various dioramas, figurines, and settings worked in from various classic Silly Symphonies. From outside looking in guests will be able to make out the Old Mill standing tall in the center of the labyrinth. Slowly turning in the wind is the windmill's blades bringing some kinetic energy to Storybook Gardens. Rather than describing every possible turn, path, nook and cranny within the labyrinth the various dioramas, figurines, and settings are instead described.

The Grasshopper and the Ants

Located near the entrance of the labyrinth are a series of miniatures dispersed through a variety of flower gardens. In one flower garden is a tree stump with The Grasshopper resting on his abdomen like a stool, his leg moves up and down as he plays on his fiddle and sings out to guests "The World Owes Me a Living". Throughout the other flowerbeds if guests look they will see miniature carts, fruits and veggies being utilized by ants. The final aspect of the this Silly Symphony is found within the hedges of the labyrinth. A diorama of the ant tunnels with the queen celebrating their harvest for the winter is implemented within the the hedges making it look grown in.

The Old Mill

Located in the center of the labyrinth is the Old Mill structure. During the day the mill looks perfectly normal, but at night projections and lighting effects make it look haunted and overgrown. Inside the Old Mill are various gears slowly turning, and in the alcoves a few birds nests. A series of ramps allows guests to go upwards into the mill. From the walls an owl occasionally pops out startling guests. At the farthest guests can there is an entrance to a couple of tube slides that swirl around the mill, and exit out beneath the mill's spinning turbines.

The Three Little Pigs

Located near the back of the Labyrinth are various depictions of characters and parts of from the Three Little Pigs. In one area is a figuring of the Big Bad Wolf with his mouth outstretched ready to blow.

The Big Bad Wolf: "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow you all down!"

After he yells this out a long blast of come from his mouth directed towards guests. In another area is a small amphitheater built by Practical Pig. Here figures of the three pigs are set up. Practical Pig is sitting at a piano made of bricks while his other two brothers are seen holding their instruments slightly moving their arms to play them. They perform "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" to all guests who happen to pass by them.

The Tortoise and the Hare

Located near the exit of the labyrinth are various figurines depicting characters and aspects from The Tortoise and the Hare. From behind the hedges pops up Max Hare.

Max Hare: "My middle name is Speed!"

Utilizing a similar effect to Brer Rabbit running in Splash Mountain the Max Hare will run across the tops of the hedge for a while. In another area guests will see that the Max Hare didn't see where he was going got himself stuck in the hedges. On one side is the hare's bum and tail, and on the other is his head and ears while his eyes spin in swirls from the collision. Near the exit of the attraction is Toby Tortoise who holds a victor's flag and medal.

Toby Tortoise: "Uh huh, I guess I win huh?"

Guests will soon be able to make their way out of The Silly Symphony Labyrinth and back into the Storybook Gardens.
